Thursday, March 28 was Wear A Hat Day 2013, part of a fundraising campaign in support of Brain Tumour Research. The request for St Ives School to take part in this event came from Year 7 student, Lia Veal. Students and staff from St Ives School paid 50p for the privilege of wearing a hat to school in support of this excellent cause. At around 11am they all gathered together in the beautiful spring sunshine to show off their headgear. An amazing total of £700 was raised through this event, generous donations and other fundraising activities. St Ives School is grateful to everyone who contributed.
