A former Falmouth University student who helped a project tackling poverty in Zimbabwe is returning the town to inspire others.
Kelly Diggle, 22, worked alongside other volunteers for ten weeks with the International Citizen Service.
She will be giving a talk at the Tremough campus next Friday (May 10) from 5pm until 6pm and anyone is welcome to attend.
Miss Diggle worked on a project run by the charity Progressio which helps people take control of their lives and overcome poverty by educating communities about HIV and Aids.
She will be talking to local youth groups in Falmouth in a bid to get them involved in volunteering.
She said: "It was really challenging, but rewarding work and now I'm back, I feel so inspired to motivate others.
"My talk at Tremough is the just the first step to me becoming more active in my community."
As a result of the trip Miss Diggle has gained project management, leadership and communications skills.
