Women who have given birth in unusual places are being sought by a Falmouth student for a university project.
Kate Wierenga is a third year photography student at Falmouth University.
Her project is about the places women have given birth in Cornwall, getting as many interesting and different locations as possible.
Along with the photos of the locations themselves, she would like an account of the birth experience.
"There is no time that I am focusing on, so they could have given birth two weeks ago or 20 years," she said.
"I am hoping for some home births, in an interesting room in the house, or public spaces like cars or taxis.
"I am only photographing the space, not the people.
"The work isn't getting published or exhibited either, so will only be used for my degree, but it may be made into a book which I can provide a copy to anyone that helps out with the project."
So far she has pictures of the rooms at Treliske and Cornwall's birth centres and four home births.
Anyone who would like to get involved can contact Kate on 07988 646856 by May 16.
