Padstow's 5th annual Christmas Festival runs from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th December 2012 and sees this Cornish fishing port come alive with celebrity chefs, culinary delights and festive fun.
A traditional Christmas market is held in a large marquee on the quay side, where stalls are laden with Cornish goodies and gifts. In the 2012 festival you can expect live cookery demonstrations from an array of culinary talent. With Santa's grotto, fireworks and live music to keep the kids entertained, Padstow's Christmas Festival offers a way to make the most of a winter's day.
Amid scenic estuary views and carols around the Christmas tree, visitors can soak up the merry atmosphere whilst escaping the hustle and bustle of city life. Food and drink stands will be celebrating all things Cornish with seasonal food & drink on offer. You can also explore Padstow's boutique retailers during late-night shopping or enjoy a meal in one of the town's renowned restaurants, cafes and pubs.
The celebration will culminate with a special Christmas service and carols at the historic St Petroc's church at the end of the festival, from 6pm on Sunday.
