Three fishermen sparked a night-time rescue operation after fears their boat was sinking off the South Devon coast. One of the crew reported water on board the Pisces vessel near Dawlish and said they needed help. Brixham Coastguards received the emergency call at 9.45pm on Thursday and coordinated the rescue in difficult conditions with Exmouth lifeboat crews. The trio, who were all in their 20s and from Exmouth, were safely returned to the shore at Exmouth.
