A mother diagnosed with a rare life-threatening condition just days before her daughter's wedding was able to attend the big day – after 137 medics worked round the clock to save her. Frances Wilkins, 56, was rushed to Royal Bournemouth Hospital unable to move her arms and suffering with an acute headache after being struck down with Churg-Strauss syndrome, which attacks the respiratory system and vital organs. The mother-of-three was supported by a nurse as she saw daughter Elizabeth walk down the aisle – but now hopes for a good recovery.
