Autumn appears to have well and truly set in as parts of Cornwall can expect heavy downpours of rain and gale-force winds today.
Exeter-based weather agency, the Met Office, warns "Winds will also become strong, with coastal and upland gales likely", although these will ease to a moderate breeze tonight.
The region can expect a maximum temperature of 19 degrees Celsius.
