After a stunning one-hit career filled with chaos and disasters of his own making, cult singer John Otway sold himself to the nation as Rock and Roll's Greatest Failure – his most successful campaign to date. In the midst of Britain's punk revolution, John enjoyed a fleeting taste of success with Cor Baby That's Really Free, which reached number 27 in the UK charts. Too bad his next hit came 25 years later.
In this film, funded entirely by his fans in return for having their names in the end credits, John returns to his old school to teach a course on survival in the music industry. He will be on hand to answer questions from the audience at the end.
