BODMIn Rotary Club has a new president with former local government officer Bruce Tyzzer taking over the chain of office.
Past president David Jenkins said he has enjoyed his term in the post and congratulated Mr Tyzzer in succeeding him.
Mr Jenkins said: "Like all good things, they come to an end but the one thing I will not miss is the weight of the chain of office around my neck, which records all the names of all the past recipients of the office.''
The club made numerous donationS to local organisations during his presidency, including Callywith Gymnastics and Trampoline Centre and Bodmin Boxing Club.
