MEMBERS of St Hilary Garden Club have been enjoying the delights of a summer garden and raising money for charity.
The group were shown around Nampara, the garden of Robert and Enid Smith of Ros- udgeon, who often open their garden and sell plants to raise money for different charities.
Sixteen of St Hilary's members enjoyed tea and cake in the sunshine of the garden, before purchasing some of the plants that are grown there.
Club member John Burrow said: "It was a lovely day of socialising mixed with raising money for charity as well."
With sales and donations, the day raised £100 for the Children's Hospice South West's Little Harbour.
St Hilary Garden Club meets every second Thursday at 2pm in the Old School Room.
