More than 20 firefighters were called to tackle a bungalow fire in Coverack, West Cornwall, in the early hours of yesterday.
A fire crew from St Keverne was initially sent to the blaze in Polcoverack Lane after the alarm was raised at 3.45am. With the building well alight, they were later bolstered by colleagues from Mullion.
Two jets and a high pressure hose were used to extinguish the blaze, which was out by 6am. No-one was in the building at the time. An investigation into the cause is being carried out.
