Saltash police are searching for two men who attacked a man as he was walking home after a night out, leaving him with a broken ankle.
The victim, who is in his early 20s, was set-upon as he walked along Fairmead Road at around 12.30am on Sunday April 14.
A representative from the police said he recalls being pushed to the ground and repeatedly kicked.
The attackers then asked for money but nothing was stolen.
The victim sustained a broken ankle during the attack and said he shouted and screamed loudly as the men assaulted him.
One of the attackers had a local accent but the victim cannot recall any further description.
