Wadebridge Town 0, Godolphin Atlantic 2
JAMIE Whigg and Phil Lowry scored the goals as Godolphin Atlantic recorded a deserved win at Bodieve Park on Good Friday.
It was another crucial win for the Division One West leaders against a third-placed Wadebridge side whose title hopes are now surely over.
Whigg, who came into the starting XI as a late replacement for Aaron Dilley, gave the visitors the lead after five minutes with a superb finish into the roof of the net.
And on the stroke of half-time Lowry, whose last appearance was against Wadebridge on Boxing Day, marked his return with a good turn and shot into the bottom corner.
With no further goals in the second half Godolphin recorded a deserved victory to maintain their promotion hopes.
