Protesters have sent out a rallying call for a developer to clean up its act at Carlyon Bay.
Up to 60 people turned out for the demonstration this morning (Wednesday).
Waving flags and holding banners calling for action young and old marched in an attempt to send a message to Commercial Estates Group to tidy up the beaches, close to where it wants to build over 500 homes.
Ally Watkins, who helped coordinate today's protest, said she is really pleased with support.
She called on the developers to "work tidy and clean up their mess" and added leaving the site in its current state is" destroying tourism".
"It's affected the local economy in a big way and it has been affecting the locals."
Mrs Watkins said the impression of the beach of what it once was to what it is now has to be changed.
" We need to get people to reidentify with the beach so that we can have a vibrant economy and a great beach and a great local place to be."
Comedian Kernow King is backing calls for the developers to clean up the site.
Further marches are planned.
