A woman who had fallen onto a garage roof in North Devon had to be rescued by firefighters late on Sunday night. Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to the incident in Meadow Close, Ilfracombe, by the ambulance service at 10.45pm.
One fire engine from Ilfracombe was sent to the scene and helped safely remove the injured women from the single-storey garage roof.
She was then taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of her injuries is not known.
