Truro golfer Sarah-Jane Boyd has been chosen to represent England in the South American Amateur Championship in Colombia later this month.
The 21-year-old former Truro School pupil won the British Women's Stroke Play Championship last year and also won the Cornwall Championship for a fourth time as well as the South West title.
Her win in the British Women's Stroke Play Championship in Belfast secured her place in this year's Ricoh Women's British Open over the Old Course at St Andrews. She trains with the England Golf Performance Squad.
â¨â¨The 72-hole individual event will take place at the Rincón de Cajica Golf Club in Bogota, Colombia, and Sarah-Jane will be accompanied by England Women's Stroke Play champion Alex Peters of Nottingham.
