Taunton expect their biggest crowd of 2012 for the ever-popular post-Christmas meeting tomorrow when the first of the seven races on the card, which boasts a total prize pot of £55,010, is off at 12.40pm.

With large fields declared in each of the events, West Country punters look assured of another full afternoon of jumping action.

First to post is the Bet Toteplacepot at Totepool.com Novices' Hurdle race just over two miles and three furlongs, where, Electrolyser the mount of Barry Geraghty for the in-form Nicky Henderson, looks set to be the odd-on favourite.

David Pipe's Home Run will be looking to make it a four timer in the GT Wyatt 70th Birthday Handicap Hurdle over two miles one, but is likely to be challenged by Tidal Way under Noel Fehily, while Cruise in Style is well worth an each way bet.

In the Bet Totequadpot at Totepool.com Novices' Handicap Chase, over just short of two-and-a-half miles, Dushy Valley, ridden by Nick Schofield, looks to be a strong contender as does Dimpsy Time, ridden by Joe Tizzard for his father Colin.

The feature race on the card is the Totepool.com Mares' Novices' Hurdle Race. Ma Filleule for Nicky Henderson with Geraghty aboard is the likely favourite, but Donald McCain's only runner at the meeting, Doyly Carte, and Call Me A Star are both expected to feature.

In the first of the two Class 3 races each offering £8,000 in prizes, the Bet Toteexacta at Totepool.Com Handicap Steeple Chase over three miles at 2.55, Honest John, under Tom Scudamore, the Nicholls-trained Deireadh Re and Rigadin de Beauchene, from the Venetia Williams yard, are all likely challengers.

Next up is the Steve Logan Memorial (County Contractors) Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle, which also has prize money worth £8,000.

Waterunder, trained by David Pipe, looks a good bet for this race and could well start off at a fair price, but top weight Ifyouletmefinish, ridden by Matt Griffiths, and Landscape are also expected to feature strongly.

The Totepool Mobile Cashback Text Tote To 89660 Handicap Hurdle half a furlong over three miles rounds things off at 4pm. Dancing Daffodil, ridden by seven pound claimer Christopher Ward and looking for a hat-trick of wins, has to be one of the fancied horses along with the Jamie Snowden- trained Soutine and Monty's Revenge, under another claimer Killian Moore, look the ones to follow here.
