A senior police officer has received a coveted accolade to recognise his outstanding contribution to seaports and maritime security at national level. Chief Superintendent Andy Clarke, maritime lead for Devon and Cornwall Police, said he was "delighted" to receive a Certificate of Excellence, which is only awarded to two or three people each year. It recognises the work of Mr Clarke and his team to ensure the continuous development and roll-out of the Police National Maritime Security Strategy.
