A SPECIAL celebrity programme has been arranged for an anniversary show on a community radio station tomorrow night.
Lewis Nicholls, from Penzance, is set to host a two-hour show full of glitz and glamour as he celebrates four years on Penwith Radio.
The 20-year-old said he had interviewed hundreds of celebrities in his time in the studio, and predicted Friday night would be a memorable two hours for the radio station.
"I'm really excited about it," he said. "I've got some great guests coming on.
"I think I've interviewed about 300 celebs in my time – and I just sent a text around to the people I've spoken to through the radio show and loads got in touch."
Mr Nicholls confirmed X Factor winner Joe McElderry, band Cover Drive, The Only Way Is Essex's Lydia Bright and former EastEnders actor Larry Lamb would be on the phone. He said many more would be unveiled and pop sensations Union J had donated signed gifts for a giveaway.
"There are loads more guests and prizes to be confirmed," said Mr Nicholls.
"We've got a few surprises lined up as well.
"It should be a really good show."
Mr Nicholls started on the station when he was 16 years old, and clips from his early sessions on the microphone are also going to be played.
His slot, Lewis Nicholls' Entertainment Fix, has seen him talk to girl group Atomic Kitten, football legend Peter Shilton and politician Ann Widdecombe, among others.
The DJ said he hoped to continue his radio career.
"A few radio stations I've contacted have got back to me and said they really like my format," he said.
Mr Nicholls' star-studded show is from 6pm and 8pm on Friday. Tune in by visiting www.penwithradio.co.uk
