LEWIS Carroll's ever popular fantasy tale Alice In Wonderland is the latest production to be put on by the Lockwood-Urban Dance and Theatre School.
The show is being staged at St John's Hall, Penzance, next Friday and Saturday, December 6 and 7, with a matinee on the Saturday.
It's often said that Carroll's goal was to teach a lesson to children about growing up in an entertaining way – the lesson might be hidden but each character has something to say about life.
But never mind the symbolism, just enjoy the well-known characters as Alice, who has fallen down a rabbit hole, is led through this magical wonderland by a White Rabbit, meeting along the way everyone from a fanciful caterpillar to the Queen of Hearts.
Judith Urban-Lockwood said: "We have enjoyed the opportunity to portray the many eccentric characters which allows our students the chance to enter this realm of fantasy.
"This show offers something for all age with song and dance and humour."
The school has recently achieved exceptional results in dance and drama examinations.
Tickets are priced at £8 for adults (£5 children) for the evening performances or £20 for a family of four; for the matinee, tickets are £6 and £4. To book call 01736740343.
