Comedy veterans Monty Python are set to reunite on what is expected to be a new project for the first time in 30 years. Surviving members John Cleese, who was born in Weston-super-Mare, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin will announce their plans at a press conference in London on Thursday. The team – whose stay at Torquay's Gleneagles Hotel in Torquay in 1971 inspired the hit sit-com Fawlty Towers – will make their announcement after keeping their plans, worked out during months of talks, under wraps.
