A 33-year-old woman faced magistrates in Torquay yesterday charged with the murder of a 48-year-old man. Neil Mitchell was found with head injuries by police at a property in Barton Drive, Newton Abbot, after a domestic incident on August 13. He was taken to Torbay hospital but transferred to Derriford, Plymouth, where he died five days later. Teresa Rylands, of no fixed abode, was charged on Wednesday. She entered no plea and was bailed to reappear at Exeter Crown Court today.
