RUGBY UNION: Canada qualified for the 2015 World Cup in England after a 13-11 second-leg triumph over the United States in Toronto last Saturday. After their 27-9 victory the previous weekend in Charleston, South Carolina, the Canadians secured a seventh straight win against the Eagles to earn their place in Pool D alongside France, Ireland, Italy and Europe's second qualifier. Canada's team in Toronto included Aaron Carpenter and Matt Evans of Cornish Pirates.
