A TEAM from the Maltsters Arms at Chapel Amble raised £1,610 for two good causes when they competed in Bodmin Ten Tors walk.

The money has now been divided between Cancer Research UK and the Riding for the Disabled charity.

The team – Dean Mcnamara, Lisa Hill, Jane Kirkwood and Corey Miller – were presented with a trophy from organisers Bodmin Lions for completing the walk in the fastest time.

Despite atrocious weather, they managed to cover the 13.5 miles in 4.75 hours.
