Week St Mary, near Bude
Leopallooza has been described as the friendliest little festival on the Cornish summer menu.
What began as a humble but ambitious house party, with live music, in a field at Week St Mary eight years ago, has grown into one of the best loved and talked-about festivals in the land... especially the traditional burning of a car, pictured.
This year's impressive musical bill for the event in in the wilds of North Cornwall near Bude next weekend, illustrates the organisers' knack for spotting the next big thing – Saturday headliners Bastille, for example, have topped the UK album charts with their debut, Bad Blood, since their lower-key performance last year.
Also returning are partystarters Man Like Me, aka high-energy duo Johnny Langer and Peter Duffy.
