Firefighters tackled a blaze at a farm in Sutcombe, near Holsworthy, in North Devon, after a barn containing more than five tonnes of straw caught fire. Four fire engines from Holsworthy, Bideford, Barnstaple and Hartland tackled the blaze at Billhole Farm on Thursday at 3pm. Firefighters were able to drag the straw from the barn, which was only partially damaged, and extinguish the fire. Fire investigators found the fire was caused by sparks flying from an angle grinder.
