Three labrador dogs were rescued from the scene of a house fire at the weekend. The animals were removed from the property in central Cornwall on Saturday after flames were spotted coming from the first floor. The occupant of the house in Fratton was out when the fire started at around 3pm. Crews from Newquay, St Columb and St Dennis attended the blaze. Mark Hewitt, the fire incident commander, said a team of investigators were trying to establish how the fire started.
