Police are appealing for witnesses after a taxi driver was assaulted in Perranporth.
The 44-year-old driver was punched by a man, sustaining stitches to his lip and bruising to his chin on St Pirans Road at around 5am on Saturday.
The suspect is described as being 6ft tall, in his late 40s, of large muscular build, clean shaven and with a shaved head. He spoke with a 'Geordie' accent.
He was wearing a white Henleys T-Shirt with a log on the front and back and light-coloured jeans.
