A road at Holsworthy Beacon was blocked yesterday after a school bus and 4x4 collided at rush-hour. Police were called to the scene in Sutcombe, near the Soldon Cross junction, at 8.16am following a crash between the 57-seater white Dennis bus and a green 4x4 Daihatsu. Officers said the female driver of the 4x4 suffered non-serious injuries and was checked over at the scene by a doctor. The school bus was not carrying any passengers at the time of the crash and the driver escaped unharmed.
