A woman has been airlifted to hospital following a two-vehicle crash on a major road. A turquoise Volkswagen Beetle flipped over on to its roof yesterday with the female occupant trapped inside. She was found conscious and her injuries were not thought to be serious. Police were called to the scene of the crash on the A386 near Mary Tavy in West Devon at 11.10am. A spokesman confirmed the woman had been flown to Plymouth's Derriford Hospital by air ambulance.
