A spectacular turnout has helped make this year's Launceston Steam and Vintage Rally one of the most popular ever.
Organisers said double the number of people from last year had attended the annual celebration of historic vehicles.
Rally chairman Matt Garrett said the glorious sunshine enjoyed on Saturday and Sunday had helped boost numbers.
However, he said yesterday was a different matter when the heaven's opened at lunchtime.
"We can't complain really," he said. "Overall it was a really great rally with some great exhibitors," he said.
"On Saturday it was good and on Sunday even better. It was just the rain on Monday that was the problem."
