A protest will be held in Truro against the "barbaric" comments from a councillor who compared disabled children to deformed lambs killed at birth.
Collin Brewer stood down from his position when earlier comments that disabled children "should be put down" came to light.
But he was re-elected to represent Wadebridge East on May 2 by a margin of four votes. Following his re-election, in an interview with Disability News Service he compared farmers' treatment of deformed lambs to the way that disabled children are dealt with and said: "If they have a misshapen lamb, they get rid of it. They get rid of it. Bang."
Sarah Maguire stood against Mr Brewer in the recent election and has now organised a protest at County Hall at 10.30am on May 24.
Ms Maguire describes Mr Brewer as a "eugenicist" - somebody who believes in using scientific selective breeding to improve the quality of the human race.
Her Twitter profile states: "Stood as a candidate in the election that put him back in. Read his lamb comments & went back to activism!"
Paul Critchlow said on Twitter: "Barbaric comments against the disabled are abhorrent - there's no place for such views in a civilised society - he must go."
Cornwal Council group leaders issued a joint statement yesterday in which they condemned Mr Brewer's views. The comments by Mr Brewer have also appeared in the national press and some fear they are damaging to Cornwall's reputation.
