The RSPCA has launched an investigation after one dog was strangled to death on its choke chain and another had become entangled requiring release. The fire service was called to the incident at Hare Park in Allerford, near Porlock, in Somerset yesterday. Fire crews had to use bolt cutters to free one dog, after its paw had become entangled, while another was confirmed to be dead. The crew then administered first aid to the female owner of the dogs who was suffering from bites to her forearms.
