A WOMAN had a lucky escape after her car lost control, hit a hedge and flipped near to Callington today.
The woman, from the St Dominic area, was helped out of her car, which was overturned, by emergency services but was not trapped.
She was said to be "distressed" following the accident on the A388 at around 12.20pm.
Fire crews from Callington and Saltash along with a rescue tender from Bodmin attended the incident near to a junction, and treated the woman until an ambulance arrived.
But there were no concerns regarding injuries and she was not taken to hospital, a police spokesperson said.
The fire crews made the area safe. The model of the car is not known.
