Taunton host their Family Fun Day Easter meeting this afternoon when the first race is due off at 2.10pm.
Sponsored by Totepool, the meeting boasts a whopping £100k in prize money, the biggest ever on offer in the history of the course.
The action gets under way with The toteplacepot Selling Handicap Race over two miles and a furlong.
The two fancied horses in this race look to be Bathwick Junior, ridden by Nick Scholfield and Golden Acorn from Nigel Hawke's yard, while On The Feather, trained ridden by Jamie Moore, is Jim Best's only runner on the card and can't be overlooked.
Next up is the The totequadpot Novices' Hurdle Race over two miles three and a half furlong, where top weight Fox Run, trained by Paul Nicholls, is likely to be well fancied, although two of the other runners likely to be in contention are Garryleigh from the David Pipe stable and Karinga Dancer, ridden by Noel Fehily.
The big race on the card is The totepool.com Handicap Steeple Chase over two miles three furlongs at 3.20pm, which has prize money worth £35,000 up for grabs.
The lightest horse in the race is Jump City, ridden by three-pound claimer Ryan Mahon and has to be a strong candidate to be in the frame along with Cheltenham winner Hunt Ball, trained locally by Kieran Burke.
In The toteexacta Handicap Hurdle Race, a Class 2 event over three miles and half a furlong, 16 runners are declared and two of the fancied are likely to be Water Garden from the Pipe connections and Promised Wings, under three-pound claimer Tom Cannon, although my each way fancy goes with the Kevin Bishop-trained Fred the Shred.
The totequickpick Handicap Steeple Chase over half a furlong short of three miles is next to post with the Harry Fry-trained Violin Davis looking the best bet, although challenges are likely to come from Ballypatrick, Mick Channon's only runner, and top weight Prince Tom for the Nicholls connections.
In The Ronnie Wallace Hunters' Steeple Chase run over just short of three miles, How's My Friend and Coombe Hill are two who are likely to be well in contention.
The afternoon rounds off with The Bet totepool On All UK Racing Handicap Hurdle Race over two miles and three and a half furlongs.
Thundering Home ridden by Tom Bellamy and The Fox's Decree under Ian Popham both look to have strong cases, while those looking for better value might want to look at lightest weight I'm A College Boy, the mount of Dougie Costello, and Alexandra Dunn's Helium.
In addition to the action on the course there will be plenty for all of the family to enjoy including a dog and duck display, a ball pit, a bouncy castle and mega slide, face painting and an Easter Egg Hunt with a free goody bag for the first 300 children under the age of 13 through the gate. As always, accompanied children under the age of 16 enter free.
