A fisherman has been airlifted off a Newlyn-based trawler after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest.
The 52-year-old collapsed on board the Lisa Jacqueline Stevenson at around midnight.
Falmouth Coastguard were alerted and tasked the search and rescue helicopter from RNAS Culdrose to the scene, 38 miles off Land's End.
The man, who was said to be conscious and breathing, was winched from the boat but because of thick fog the helicopter had to touch down at Malpas where the patient was then transferred to Treliske by ambulance.
His condition is not known.
