A SEASONAL dog ban at a tourist attraction has been lifted for the key tourist months.
After a decade of forbidding pooches on-site during the summer, the Lost Gardens of Heligan has decided to allow well-behaved canine companions.
"For many, a dog is a very important family member and people, particularly if they are visiting the South West on holiday, are loathe to leave them behind," said new managing director George Elworthy.
"I hope by making this change, it will enable even more people to enjoy the Lost Gardens."
