Emergency services are currently battling to free a man trapped in a car which collided with a lorry on the A38 this morning.
The A38 at Glynn Valley is currently closed in both directions after a silver Peugeot apparently veered into oncoming traffic half a mile south of Trago Mills and collided head-on with a lorry in the other lane.
The incident, which happened just before 11.30am, is described as 'non life-threatening or life-changing at this time'. The lorry sustained some damage but the driver is said to be unhurt.
The A38 is closed between the A390 at Doballs and the A30 Carminow Cross. Traffic has built up considerably in both directions as a result.
More as we have it.
