Firefighters deal with fire in pumping station at Lanner, near Redruth

Firefighters were called to the water pumping station on Lanner Hill, near Redruth at 3.17am today (January 28).
Crews from Redruth and Camborne, wearing breathing equipment, used a carbon dioxide extinguisher to deal with a fire, which involved an electrical intake.
 Electrical engineers were called to deal with the problem.
