POLICE in Hayle are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a motorboat moored in the harbour was broken into.
The incident happened between Saturday, January 12 and Tuesday, January 15.
The boat was moored at North Quay and an intruder managed to get on board and steal an old anchor worth £70, said Sergeant Simon Dobson of the Hayle neighbourhood policing team.
"The fuel tank was moved and placed on the bank," he added. "PC Graham Trevorrow and PCSO Fiona Gamble do a lot of work with the harbour so they would be all ears to any information on this."
