A St Ives taxi driver, who sexually assaulted a woman on the eve of his wedding, has been jailed for four years.
Nigel Holland, aged 51, of Trelawney Avenue, St Ives, admitted sexually assaulting three women in his taxi in 2010-11.
At the sentencing at Truro Crown Court today Judge David Ticehurst, said: "You targeted vulnerable young women for your sexual gratification. You have shown no remorse nor understanding of the seriousness of your offending and as such pose a danger to other women.
"Your friends and relations are amazed and astonished at the true revelations of your character."
Martin Pearce, defending, stressed that Holland was of previous good character and was very well thought of by the people of St Ives.
The Judge imposed an extended licence period of three years, a Sexual Offences Prevention Order for life and told Holland that he must also sign the Sex Offenders' Register for the rest of his life.
